This Privacy Policy applies to RestartWorks and all related applications operated by Discovery Coaching, LLC, including FIRE (fire.restart.coach) and other tools within the RestartWorks ecosystem (collectively, the "Services"). By using any of the Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described here. This Policy works together with our Terms of Service — together they make up your full agreement with us.

1. What We Collect

Account information (email, name, payment details via Stripe)
Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps)
Content you create (messages, journal entries, goals, etc.)
Technical data (IP address, browser type, device info)
Sensitive personal and financial information you choose to provide, which may include your date of birth and age, marital and household status, and detailed financial data such as assets, account balances, liabilities, debts, interest rates, income, expenses, and retirement information

You choose what to share. Some Services — particularly FIRE — ask you to enter detailed personal and financial information so the tools can calculate results for you. Providing this information is entirely voluntary. You decide what to enter, and you may use approximate values, omit details, or decline to provide information at any time. By entering this information, you consent to its collection, storage, and processing as described in this policy.

To provide and improve the Services, including performing financial and other calculations you request

To analyze usage and fix bugs
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Anthropic (Claude AI): Your coaching conversations and, where applicable, summaries of the information you provide are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Google and Microsoft: If you sign in using Google or Microsoft, we receive basic profile information (such as your email and name) to create and authenticate your account. Their respective privacy policies apply.
Analytics (if enabled): For anonymized usage analytics.

4. Data Security and Breach

Data Security and Breach — Read Carefully: We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Data transmitted between your device and the Services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of your information. You provide your information, including sensitive financial and personal information, at your own risk.

No Liability for Data Breach: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you acknowledge and agree that Discovery Coaching, LLC, David Killion, and their respective officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates (the "Released Parties") will not be liable for any unauthorized access to, acquisition of, disclosure of, alteration of, loss of, or use of your information — including any sensitive personal or financial information — resulting from any security incident, data breach, hacking, intrusion, system failure, or act of any third party, whether or not such event was foreseeable, and even if a Released Party was advised of the possibility of such an event. You release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to any such event, except to the extent such liability cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

This section is in addition to, and does not limit, the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification provisions in our Terms of Service, which also apply to all information you provide.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at dave@thekillions.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

8. Children

The Services are not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
